Black Lantern Reverse-Flash is a reanimated version of Eobard Thawne, the Reverse-Flash and archenemy of Barry Allen, the Flash. This undead incarnation emerged during the "Blackest Night" event.
After Thawne's death (having been erased from existence by Barry Allen and later resurrected), his corpse was inducted into the Black Lantern Corps. This Corps, fueled by the emotional spectrum of death, sought to extinguish all life and emotional energy in the universe.
As a Black Lantern, Thawne retained his memories, personality, and speedster abilities. However, his primary motivation was to inflict emotional suffering on the living, particularly Barry Allen. He was driven by a twisted desire to torment Barry and force him to experience the pain of loss.
Unlike living speedsters, Black Lantern Reverse-Flash fueled his speed using the dark energy of the Black Lantern power ring. He was a formidable opponent during "Blackest Night," leveraging his knowledge of Flash's weaknesses and his own speed to spread death and despair.
